We have just had four nights at The Old Mill. Debbie, Ashley, Adam and their family are great hosts and made us feel very welcome. The rooms were spotless, well appointed and very comfortable. We also were able to sit and have a relaxing drink in the beautiful gardens. Breakfast was fantastic with so much choice of locally sourced produce. We also ate in the Bistro one evening where the food was of high quality, well cooked and presented. Thank you for a great stay we will definitely be returning.

Thank you so much for making us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. We arrived early and because the room was ready we were able to check in early. We stayed in The Millers Room which was lovely and spacious. We had a lovely view of the gardens which were superb. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was great with a good choice and we were also lucky to eat in the Bistro following a cancellation. The food was well prepared, presented and was so tasty. Wish we could have stayed a couple more nights but will hopefully return. A really well run family B and B which has followed all government guidelines to keep all staff and guests safe. Thank you for making our 2 night stay so enjoyable.

Me and partner stayed here for two nights and were so pleased with everything. Great customer service and warm welcome, lovely bistro, cosy room, brilliant location. We loved it so much that we have just booked for Feb! Thanks so much for a lovely stay. xx

Thank you so much for a fantastic relaxing weekend. The accommodation is beautiful and the welcome warming, you made us feel at home as soon as we arrived, so you can imagine how hard it was for us to leave!! The breakfast was beautifully cooked and such a huge choice too, which certainly set us up for the day. In the evening we were lucky enough to eat in your BISTRO, which is always busy and I can see why. The food is delicious. During our stay we had the scallops, mackerel and figs for starters, sea bass, Dover sole, duck and steak for main. For dessert, superb Panna cotta and of course the sticky toffee pudding several times !! All of these were beautifully prepared, cooked and presented. The service is top class and attentive too. Overall the atmosphere, ambiance and welcome we received made us feel very special. We are already planning our return visit. Thank you to you all for a great weekend.

What can we say? FANTASTIC what a great four nights we had. The rooms was amazing with lots of special little personal touches. The breakfast was out of this world. What made it so special to us was that everyone was so kind to Teddy Dog. Lovely family who made us so welcome. Will be back and would highly recommend. Thank you all so much.

A group of friends stayed here this week. We really enjoyed our stay as the Mill House was in a very pretty location and was as beautiful inside as it was outside. Attention to detail was very evident. The hosts were friendly and the accommodation was fabulous! The breakfast was first class as was the evening meal at the bistro- probably one of the best meals we have had. A lovely stay.

We had an overnight stay on the 9th May as a base for a special event at Rick Steins in Padstow. The owners at The Old Mill House were very welcoming and the Wheel Room we stayed in was excellent with a view over the garden. As for the breakfast well that was just exceptional. The Bistro is shut on Monday but from the menu we saw it is well worth a visit although we don't live far away we will certainly return just to eat in the Bistro which going from our experience will not be disappointing. Thank you very much for our experience at your lovely B&B

02/11/2015 - Mr Steve & Sarah Hardstone, Bramley, Surrey.

We stayed at the Old Mill for four nights in October. Everything was 5 star. Friendly, professional, attentive hosts. Attractive, clean, beautifully kept property. Perfect location. Excellent breakfast. All in all if Cornwall were to choose a small business ambassador The Old Mill House would be a pretty fair choice. I'm sure we'll be back. Steve and Sarah

Brilliant place to stay. Great food (breakfast & bistro) and run by a family who cannot do enough for you.The whole experience is first class. Definitely coming back - that is if there are rooms available of course and if they keep doing what they do there won't be! Thanks again.

02/11/2014 - Mr & Mrs Gordon & Christine Brown, Nr. Axminster, East Devon

Thank you all SO much for our wonderful stay at The Old Mill House. Your friendly welcome made us feel relaxed and very much 'at home'. The Wheel Room was beautifully furnished -- comfortable -- with every attention to detail -- plus the added novelty of the mill wheel rolling around outside our window!! Breakfast was a real treat and, as we were at the end of October, it was great to be able to enjoy an evening meal 'in house', rather than look elsewhere BUT the bistro menu was SO good that we would recommend eating there whatever the time of year!! Sadly, we weren't around for afternoon tea but can imagine just how scrummy it would be! Boomer and Henry added to the lovely homely atmosphere -- we do hope to be able to visit again -- and have already recommended The Old Mill House to friends. Thank you again -- our very best wishes for your continued success.
